His Name Is Jesus

by Samuel Williams
(Gladstone,Or. America)

IS GOD WORKING IN YOUR LIFE?

Lived on the streets
and played the game
Satan’s deceits
left me with shame

My life was dead
now no one wins
Then someone said
give me your sins

His name is Jesus
Who saved my life from hell
His name is Jesus
I’ve come to know him well
Jesus is coming
Don't try to run too far
Jesus is coming
He’ll meet you where you are

Praise God I’m here
To testify
He makes it clear
That He cannot lie

My God, I’m yours
I sing and shout
My Lord secures
Against sin and doubt

His name is Jesus
He’s reaching out for you
His name is Jesus
He will make you brand new
Jesus is coming
Don't try to run too far
Jesus is coming
He’ll meet you where you are

We’ve lived in lies
For all these years
God hears our cries
And sees our fears

It’s not too late
Leave your past behind
You have a date
With the God of mankind

His name is Jesus
He’s reaching out for you
His name is Jesus
He will make you brand new
Jesus is coming
Don't try to run too far
Jesus is coming
He’ll meet you where you are
