I ONCE WAS A STRANGER

by Charles Robey
(Trussville AL)

I once was a stranger to the Christ of Galilee,
Knowing not He loved and cared so much for me.
Then I heard of His great love, How he left His home above
Just because He loved a sinner like me.
But now since he saved me and has made me fully whole,
He has given me peace, joy and love within my soul
Of His love I'll always sing praises to my Lord and King,
In my house while ages shall roll.
Now I am a pilgrim to the land beyond the blue
Traveling forever with my Lord so kind and true.
Every step He leads the way all my fears He doth allay
And I know for certain He will carry me through.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.(JOHN 3:16)

There's an old Hymn entitled " There's Room At The Cross For You" The chorus goes like this:

There's room at the cross for you
There's room at the cross for you
Though millions have come, there's still room for one
Yes there's room at the cross for you. .

What's so amazing about the love of God, if I had been the only one Christ would have died for me. Do you know Christ, as your personal savor?
If not, put please insert you name in the above scripture verse, in the place of the "whoever" and call upon God to be saved.
