Church: Brand New Church
Position: Worship Team
Hello, my name is Joshua Mark Hollingsworth. I was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and I grew up in a preacher's home. My Dad, the founder of this website, was mostly in church planting and consequently, we moved a lot.
But by my senior year in High School, they settled down in Oklahoma City (lot of good that did me!) and when I graduated, I went to Baptist Bible College in Springfield, Missouri and graduated with a Missions major.
I met my wife at Bible College and I married April Hamilton in 2001 and we now have two beautiful children, a girl and a boy who are growing up way too fast.
I worked as Youth Director in my Dad's church for several years and then we moved to Bryant, Arkansas with good secular job offers that will allow us to get out of debt and pay off school loans so that we can prepare to go where God leads as Missionaries. This is our ministry calling.
While in Bryant we are ministering in our local church in any way that we can. I am now on the Worship team playing bass guitar.
I don't get to preach now as much as I did when I was Youth Director, but I'm glad I now have a place to share my sermons with others. I'll add some more sermons to my Josh Hollingsworth Sermons page in the near future.
I hope my sermons (below my submission form) will be a blessing to those who read them.
