JESUS, THE GOD-MAN

JESUS, THE GOD-MAN

Here is the entire life of Jesus given in prose, to include a brief commentary of His life. Just take up your Bible, relax and compare this poem with God's Holy Inspired word (2 Peter 1:21), as you are being divinely instructed (2 Timothy 3:16).

JESUS MY JESUS
A miracle how Jesus and God can be the same
A mystery only by faith can mankind exclaim
JESUS-MY JESUS
Humbled Heaven and Earth was born in a manager
From beginning to end He is the world changer
JESUS -MY JESUS
When just a youth He was about the Father's will
As the religious leaders marveled at His lawful skill
JESUS-MY JESUS
Baptized was He in the river Jordan as wind's breezed
While God the Father exclaimed I am well pleased
JESUS- MY JESUS
At the wedding feast He turned the water into wine
First He did refused but the first miracle not to decline
JESUS-MY JESUS
At thirty His earthly ministry was Heavenly blessed
Giving eternal life to all who would accept and confess
JESUS-MY JESUS
In the name of the Father His prayer would claim
Many miracles of which God's word did not all name
JESUS-MY JESUS
In the end He was betrayed by one who kept the purse
As religious leaders thirty pieces of silver did disburse
JESUS - MY JESUS
He was lead to the cross as a sheep to the slaughter
For the sins of one and all He suffered and died a martyr
JESUS-MY JESUS
In three days He arose victorious over Satan's sinful evil
With His faithful followers, and many others He did mingle
JESUS-MY JESUS
The Comforter promise was given to abide in believers hearts
The Holy Spirit would abide forever Shortly after He would depart
JESUS- MY JESUS
After proclaiming to someday return He took Heavenly flight
Welcomed by the Father into the Heavens realm of Glory light
JESUS- MY JESUS
Now beloved you may take Gods Grace by faith alone
As in God's word, the Bible, His Salvation is plainly known
JESUS- MY JESUS
So by simply asking turn and accept His hallowed call today
Now may you never more from His blessed presence stray
JESUS- MY JESUS

COMMENTARY
When our Lord Jesus Christ came on the scene, the entire known world was turned upside down. Both the civil and religious government's were about to lose their strong hold on the populist. And for this reason alone, the entire life of Jesus was in conflict with the times, as both civil and religious leaders became set on destroying Jesus and His new found gospel message. However, His heavenly Father had another eternal mission for His Son, Jesus (Matthew 1:21).

Yes Jesus was truly God in the flesh (John 1:1) (John 1:14). You see, God picked the best heaven could offer, His perfect and only Son, and sent Him to earth to pay the penalty for our sins (John:3:16).

Was Jesus actually in human form ? Yes He was.
He was born of a women (Galatians 4:4).
He was subject to human growth (Luke 2:52).
He was seen and handled by man (1 John 1:1) (Matthew 26:12).
He was sinless (Hebrews 4:15).
He hungered (Matthew 4:2).
He was thirsty (John 19:28).
He grew tired ( John 4:6) .
He wept (John 11:35).
He was tested (Hebrews 4:15)
He had human names (Luke 19:10) (Matthew 1:21).
(Mark 10:47) (Isaiah 53:1)
And most important, He was able to die (Matthew 27:50).

Why was Jesus born when He was? According to history, three perfect conditions existed:
Universal language.
Universal peace.
Universal desire.

Why was Jesus sent to earth?:
To reveal God to man (John 1:18).
To provide an example for living (1 Peter 2:21).
To provide the sacrifice for sin (Hebrews 1`0:1-10).
To destroy the works of Satan (1 John 3:8).
To be a merciful High Priest ( Hebrews 5:1-2).
To fulfill the Davidic covenant (Luke 1:31-33).
To be highly exalted ( Phil 2:9).

Amen!

Author's Post Script

The most important reason that Jesus has to be God is that, if He is not God, His death would not have been sufficient to pay the penalty for the sins of the world (1 John 2:2). A created being, which Jesus would be if He were not God, could not pay the infinite penalty required for sin against an infinite God. Only God could pay such an infinite penalty. Only God could take on the sins of the world (2 Corinthians 5:21), die, and be resurrected, proving His victory over sin and death.
