Science, Supernatural...or both?

Science and revelation are different spheres, and governed by different laws. They are not contradictory, but supplementary; and there is only antagonism when they depart from their own lines; the result then is chaos. A simple illustration may show the need of both. On either hand, at the bedside of a dying man, is a minister of religion and a physician. They meet there as specialists, and both as the ministers of God. The one draws a medicine from a natural source to ease pain and prolong life; the other draws a medicine from a supernatural source to soothe the alarmed conscience. Man, having his origin from both sources, requires the healing agency of both.
