The Gift That Never Dies

by Samuel Williams
(Gladstone,Or. America)

God gives His love freely without restriction or interference.

I see love in the eyes of a child
Who’s reaching out to Momma’s hand.
I hear the river roaring out, running wild
down a mountainside so grand
The miracles God gives to man.

Jesus speaks to the heart,
You can know Him if you try if one tries.
This life we live will soon fall apart
but the love God gives never dies,
The gift God gives us never dies

Life was like a roller coaster ride,
it took me up and then back down.
I lived a selfish foolish life full of pride.
Mr. make believe in my town,
I did not care where I was bound.

But Jesus spoke to my heart,
While I was living a lie, all my lies.
Jesus gave me a new life to start.
In Christ, I live that never dies,
Receive His Gift that never dies.

I see love in the eyes of a child,
Who’s reaching out to Momma’s hand.
I hear the river roaring out, running wild,
down a mountainside so grand.
The miracles God gives to man.
