The Greatest Need of America

Text: Ezekiel 37:10 (KJV)
10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

I. We have discredited the Bible.

A. Satan discredited the Word of God in the Garden of Eden.

B. Higher criticism has raised questions about the so called errors in the Word of God trying to discredit it.

C. But the Word of God still is valid and true. Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The Word of God is just as potient today as it has ever been.

II. We have given our devotion to pleasure rather than the things of God.

A. Our football stadiums are filled on Sundays when Christians should be in church.

B. Our basketball stadiums are filled on Sundays when Christians should be in church.
God has taken at least 2nd place, and probably less importance in the heart and lifes of God's people.

III. We are no longer aggressive in evangelism.

A. Churches used to be involved in the evangelism circles for Christ rather than self glory.

B. Many Churches are not involved in evangelism at all because they do not want to offend others.

C. We are still the only plan that Christ has for reaching a lost and evil world.

Conclusion:
Wake up America and Church and return to your first love. Don't stay in the Sodom and Gommorah state until God brings judgment to us.
