What is the truth?

by Robert E. Ford
(Peterborough UK)

What is the truth, will we ever know?

The truth is God, and he will show
To us one day that door through which
The light of life shine true and rich.

Where have you been he seemed to say
I've called to you for many a day.
I did not hear his call at first
But then the light in me did burst.

It burst with such amazing grace that
Every thing in me did race along
A race track true and straight
Quick O quick I can not wait.

But I have passed this way before
Except with out the open door.
The open door is truth and light,
And now through God I can fight the fight.
