I Just Want'a Please My Savoir

Like a humble loyal servant;


I desire to serve my King.


I desire to please my Savior;


By trusting Him - in everything.




To live His Holy perfect will;


To yield to Him my life completely.


Being conformed to Him each day;


To touch a world that needs to see.




I want'a walk, to walk like Jesus.


I want'a to talk , the talk, He talks.


I want'a to live , the life He's promised.


I want'a to answer when He knocks.




I'm workin' on all the changes.


All the changes I need to make.


The Lord knows I'm a Christian.


And He knows I'm not a fake.




Like the sunshine through the trees;


Like the birds sing through the leaves;


I long to touch God's heart with praise;


And cast His bread upon the seas.




I want'a sing the songs of angels.


I want'a make a difference here.


I just want'a please my Savoir;


To walk by faith and not by fear.




The Lord has been my friend;


And my help in time of need.


He's filled my life with blessings;


And I'll follow as He leads.




I want'a walk, to walk like Jesus.


I want'a talk , the talk, He talks.


I want'a live , the life He's promised.


I want'a to answer when He knocks.




Now, I don't claim to be perfect;


I've failed Him, many, many times.


But I'm strivin' in His Spirit;


While He polishes and shines..
