Listen

by Kim Biernesser
(Glen Burnie, Md. USA)

God is sending us a message,
Be aware, it's crystal clear,
But you have to listen,
Or you may not hear,

God's inner peace surounds me,
When I kneel to pray,
But you need to listen,
There soon will come a day,

There will be great earthquakes,
More storms are yet to come,
At any given moment,
There could be another one,

There will be great famine,
People hunger,starving more,
There will be disease's,
Doctor's searching for a cure,

More people lack affection,
Families soon may fall apart,
Now's the time to show more love,
It's not too late to start,

So reach out to each other,
Read your Bible's faithfully,
Always ask this question,
How does God want me to be?

You will get an answer,
Be faithful in your prayer's,
Be still enough to listen,
Our Lord is everywhere

Be still enough to listen,
Be still enough to pray,
You will hear His gentle voice,
The Lord guides me everyday!

So True
by: Reenie

I love this poem; I love the way Kim puts such profound words into verse. The words are so true. And Kim is so gifted and talented.
