Reflections of times past:

by anonymous

Once upon a midnight ride along the deep blue sea I met a girl that was so free that she frighten me to see Oh how she did that to me never again will I be so free to see what she showed me that night Oh how wonderful she was to me Often at times she comes to me in a fond memory of my youth If only I can see to be true to me And there are often times of gladness when I reflect on that wonderful night we met she showed me the way of truth even now I know that the image on the poster showing one set of footprints is the story of a soldier's life Oh how much I deeply feel about something so great to me my friend indeed freed me from the bondage of my youth.
