ARE YOU A MEMBER OF THE C.I.A. (Christians In Action)

In this changing world, in which we live, to be dedicated to the true gospel, or in other words to be a "Christian In Action", (C.I.A) is rather unusual. So, are you an active Christian? You may ask, how does one examine their faith, to be sure to be in God's will on this all important matter? Well, the Apostle Paul has a very simple answer. (2 Corinthians 13:5).

Even out Lord, when he was only about twelve years of age, was busy doing the will of His Father, by teaching in the Temple. (Luke 2:49)

After you have examined your faith by attending your spiritual doctor, God's word, and received your examination, did you get a "clean bill of health". Then, either keep going forward, (Hebrews 10:32) (Hebrews 10: 35-39) as the new Christians did, (Acts 2: 1:47) or if need be, confess those unwanted sins (1 John 1:9) (Revelation 22:14) and return to God's fellowship.

Do you feel better now? Then, continue to be active for the Lord, by seeking God's perfect will for your life. How is this accomplished? (1 Chronicles 28:9) By continuing to talk with your Heavenly Father in prayer. (Psalm 141:2) (Psalms 86:6) (Philippians 4:6) (Colossians 4:2)

Don't forget to study God's Holy Word. (Proverbs 4:13) (Psalm 119:105) (2 Timothy 3:16-17) (Romans 15:4) (Ephesians 6: 10-17) By doing so, God can talk to you.

Keep in fellowship with fellow believers, by being active in a local Bible believing church. (Hebrews 10:25) (1 Timothy 3:14-15) (Matthew 6:5) (Matthew 18:20) (1 John 1: 1-10)

And above all else, don't forget to stay firm in the true gospel. (1 Corinthians 15: 3-4) (Matthew 10:22) (Galatians 5:1) (1 Timothy 4:15-17) (1 Corinthians 9: 24-25)

In other words, a "Christian In Action" (CIA) is simply one who prays daily, reads their Bible daily, regularly attends a good Bible believing church, fills their mind with things of the kingdom, such as good Bible study broadcasts and good Christian music and actively witnesses for Christ.

Now, just stop and think. We Christians are God's only tools, in getting the gospel out to a "lost and dying" world. (Isaiah 55:11) (Romans 1:16) (John 12:32) If we fail, the word fails to get out.

Oh, there's the newspaper, TV, radio , the internet, and other forms of the modern day news media. However, unbelievers will not take time with these mediums. We are the only "Bible" our family, friends and neighbors see. So, go to them. (Matthew 28:19-20)
