He descended down from Heaven to teach the gospel of God's kingdom.
Broke the chains of bondage to bring us into freedom.

He performed the greatest miracles this world has ever seen.
Led us on to pastures nourishing and green.

Quenched our thirst and cleansed us with the living water from his well.
Saved us from the curse of death and eternity in Hell.

In a world filled with hate, sin, greed and destruction.
He provides for us love, hope, faith and instruction.

He leads us on the narrow path through Heaven's gates afar.
The root and offspring of king David, The Bright and Morning Star.
