Finale

by Ashley Tagoon

Lord how long must I wait, why did they say all those things filled with hate. You love them more and more than I can, I know, as I bless them, they curse me though. They try to take what all is mine, they do no wrong, I am to blame all the time. They are so conniving, their sneaky scheming ways, I still loved them and it's you they betray. They do all they can, say it's you who will fail but as you gave your word, while I put it on repeat, they still mocked and said I was absurd. Slandering they did badly, as I walked,. my head held high, I did it gladly, it won't be long now, they'll just stand asking how. Not saying a word, it's me who will pass you, I need only the Almighty one, I didn't need a whole crew. He's still holding my hand, he's already moved you, say hello to my Savior as we're walking through.
