Many Christians are still under the influence of an unclean spirit and don’t know it. (part 2)

Many Christians are still under the influence of an unclean spirit and don’t know it. (part 2)

How does God deliver me if I’m captured by Satan’s thoughts in some area of my life?

1. By God’s words preached under the anointing of Holy Spirit, which words I then believe.

Luke 4:18-19 (Jesus) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord (the time of God’s restoration of all things). KJV

Matt 8:16 ...They brought to Him (Jesus) many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,

Acts 16:16 ...A girl possessed with a spirit of fortune-telling met us...Paul...said to the spirit, "I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her." And he came out that very hour.

God’s word on its own can’t do anything, only God’s word anointed by God’s Spirit (breath).

Isa 10:27 ...The yoke (tying us to Satan) will be destroyed because of the anointing...

2. By prayer that’s in God’s will, from my heart; and that I believe is heard and answered:

1 Jo 5:14-15 .This is the confidence (the trust) we have in Him, If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Matt 21:22 (Jesus) Whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Matt 6:9-13 Father...lead us, not into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.

3. By living in Christ and believing that God is protecting me from being harmed by Satan.

2 Cor 1:21 He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God

2 Thes 3:3 The Lord is faithful who establishes you and guards you from the evil one.

1 Jo 5:18 ...Anyone (currently) begotten of God does not sin, but the One Who was (AMP)(first) begotten of God watches over him, Christ's divine presence within him preserves him against evil, and the wicked one does not touch him.

If I’m once delivered from the influence of wicked spirits will I stay free of them – only:

1. If I continue to be possessed by the Holy Spirit, who causes me to keep God’s words.

Rom 8:9 You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit (this is written to Christians), if the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His (Christ is not his Lord although he was once born again).

1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own? (possessed)

Ezek 36:27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes (My words), and you will keep My judgments (My words) and do them.

2. If I continue to feed on, believe, and receive into my heart more of God’s living words:

John 8:31-32 ...If you continue in my will know the truth and the truth (My living words in you heart) shall make you free (from wicked spirits, and sin).

Jam 1:21 Receive with meekness (a hearing heart) the engrafted word which has the power to save your souls (free your will from captivity to spirits and from sin)

3. If I live in the fear of God, in loving submission, God’s angels will deliver me from spirits:

Acts 9:31 The churches...walking in the fear of the Lord (acknowledging God in all of their ways), and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, were multiplied.

Ps 34:7 The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.

Prov 23:17 Continue in the reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord all the day long.

This power over wicked spirits has been given to Christians who live continually “in Christ”.

Eph 3:10-12 ...That now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers (demons) in the heavenly places, According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of Him.

Mark 16:17 (Jesus) And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name (in My Nature, living in Me and so speaking by Me) they will cast out demons...

Luke 10:19-20 (Jesus) Behold, I give you the authority...over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven (and are not blotted out).

Rev 3:5 (Jesus) He who overcomes (by Me, his enemies, the world, his flesh and the Devil) shall be clothed in white garments (of righteousness), and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. (My only assurance of eternity).
