Never Abandons Me

by isabel

The Lord never abandons me
Carries me through everything
When I don't have anybody
I have him to believe

He never leaves me alone
Holds my hand letting go
Watches me very close
He helps me find the door

When it seems like everything goes wrong
At every corner something bad comes along
And my heart can't hold on
He's there always, never gone

When the world causes me to cry
And I'm running scared through the night
His arms are open to hold me tight
Comforting and wiping the tears from my eyes

The Lord never abandons me
His promise he will always keep
I love him he's my everything
I'm so happy, I have him with me
