Teach me to love

by Andrew
(Woodstock, Canada)

In a world so cold, teach me to love
Let me bear thy light
Let me bring thy warmth
Let me melt the ice
Let me share thy grace
Teach me to love

Let my heart ne’er grow cold
Let me not wander from thy loving grace
Let me love your each and every child
Teach me to love

Teach me to be strong
Teach me to be bold and wise
Above all, teach me to love

Lord, when I think upon your sacrifice, I’m out of words
I’ll never know, how could love me like that
I pray you’ll teach me to love like that
Lord, teach me to love

Teach me my King to honor you
Teach me my God my soul to sing
Teach me oh Christ my heart to give
Teach me oh Spirit thy fruit to bear
Teach me to love
