Proverbs 3:5-6
New International Version (NIV)

and lean not on your own understanding;6in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.

Context :

• He wrote the Proverbs for a Special Son He had (My son)
o He mentions my son 27 times in the book of proverbs
• He wanted to give his son a gift of wisdom
• Wisdom is one of the greatest gift you can give to your children
• Wisdom will set up your children for life
• There is not much wisdom in this world
• Specially in the modern world
• Everything is done without wisdom
• What is Biblical Wisdom?
o It’s the ability to ask the Lord what is right and wrong
o And choosing what the Lord considers right

o Knowing what’s wrong
o And avoiding it.
