Yesterday - Today - Tomorrow

YESTERDAY, gives many memories
From childhood into, decades beyond
The majority of them good
I find in them, a special bond

YESTERDAY, I recall being spared
From treacherous events along the way
The Gospel message was presented
When I responded, it was a happy day

TODAY, I have peace in my soul
Amid turmoil on every side
He is the Light unto my path
In Him, each day, I abide

TODAY, as I learn more of His way
I find strength, through each trial
Peace and contentment, - He gives
In a world that is hostile

TOMORROW, I'll bask in His presence
Free from burdens, I have known
It will be a glorious day
When from fleshly bonds, I have flown

TOMORROW, beckons all who claim
The atonement provided by His Son
Eternal bliss awaits them all
When eternity, - has begun
